Neumarkt, 12.10.2026 – openVisavid, the enterprise open-source video conferencing solution, is now a partner in the TechBoost program of Deutsche Telekom. This means that customers can now also obtain openVisavid through existing Telekom distribution channels, both as a standalone solution and as a building block within larger sovereign IT environments.

“Video conferencing is part of the critical communication infrastructure of any organization. That’s why it’s important to be able to trust the provider. With openVisavid, the partnership with Telekom provides a solution whose source code is openly accessible, which is based on strong encryption and can be used both independently and as a building block in larger sovereign IT environments,” says Peer Baumann, Business Development Manager at Telekom.

With its verifiable source code, strong encryption, accessibility and scalability, openVisavid is an alternative to US-American standard solutions, especially for government agencies, educational institutions and organizations with high confidentiality requirements. Inclusion in the TechBoost program now expands access to these target groups through Telekom’s existing business customer network.

The TechBoost program of Deutsche Telekom supports selected, market-ready B2B startups with cloud infrastructure, sales and marketing support, and access to the company’s business customer network.
